What is an Upper Blepharoplasty?
Upper blepharoplasty or upper eyelids surgery, is a quick cosmetic surgical procedure that gets rid of upper eyelid skin and fat excess. It gives the patient a young and fresh look.
The Procedure
The procedure is performed under local anaesthesia. The skin excess is removed through a hidden incision drawn at the eyelid natural skin crease. Any fat excess and muscle hypertrophy are treated during the same procedure. The lateral border of the eye can be adjusted during the same procedure and this consists of a part of the procedures known as fox eye, cat eye, and ponytail eye lift.
Procedure can take up to 1-2 hours.
Recovery
What about the recovery?
Results are visibly noticeable 7 days after the surgery and it takes around 1-2 weeks to recover.
